WILD HEDGES HONEY
The branding for Wild Hedges honey was based on a simple cursive typeface that reflects a rustic and natural ideal from a small farm to market producer. The client wanted a gentle yet contrasting range of labels for their honey packaging, that would clearly stand out from its competitors within a commercial supermarket. A raft of label designs for hand crafted soaps, teas and chai, lip and body balms were created, with new designs for lines being developed for future release. MINOTAUR RECORDS
The branding and website development for Minotaur Records was for my own potential online record store, but was not pursued due to inflation of shipping costs. The e-commerce hosting website featured a simple landing page offering new releases by genre, search function, cart and contact form. The strict use of only black and red across the site is both graphic and helps drive the user to navigate the site with ease and unnecessary distraction.
HANGING GARDEN
The branding and identity design for Hanging Garden Cafe & Nursery was built around an illustration of an antique pulley and rope and a simple yet distinctive typeface. The brief was to create a brandmark and identity design to run across a menu, business card, coffee cup and potential packaging elements.
BRAT HAUS VIC
The branding for the new company Brat Haus Victoria, a branch of the existing Queensland brand, was to have a clear visual point of difference. The brandmark features a textural woodcut styled illustration of a sausage, with a playful typeface following the ‘smile’ of the sausage. The illustration was to also feature in the tag line, ‘Put a smile on your dial’ and to work on both a white and black background.
