PACKAGING
DARWIN & THE FINCH
The Darwin & The Finch Knowledge Pack was a hypothetical project produced for Museums Victoria, to be sent out to secondary school students and educators. The kit was an information pack to create interest in attending Melbourne Museum’s exhibition Darwin to DNA . The pack included a self-enclosing custom shaped envelope, a six panel brochure that unfolds to a poster, species evolution pop-up card, a foldable mascot name tag and a paper bag. The design would need to captivate a young adult audience of high school students, combining playfulness with graphic appeal.
WILD HEDGES HONEY
The branding for Wild Hedges honey was based on a simple cursive typeface that reflects a rustic and natural ideal from a small farm to market producer. The client wanted a gentle yet contrasting range of labels for their honey packaging, that would clearly stand out from its competitors within a commercial supermarket. A raft of label designs for hand crafted soaps, teas and chai, lip and body balms were created, with new designs for lines being developed for future release. Content was also created for Wild Hedges instagram
WILD OISHI
The Wild Oishi branding was developed for a packaging range of three Japanese wild animal feed products. The designs were informed by traditional woodblock prints and Japanese design elements and needed to work as a packaging set and to stand out individually. A three panel folded brochure was designed to be included in the bag and a sealing sticker to enclose the bag opening.
SIGNUS ESTATE WINES
The label designs for Signus Estate was for a hypothetical wine company, which feature three bottle labels and matching boxes. With the illustration centred around bird species, antique book engravings and bold capital letters, the Signus Estate brandmark needed to be relatively quiet and simple.
